There are over 300 test centres across the UK. You can use our Test Centre Finder to locate your nearest HS&E test centre.
Is CITB and CSCS the same thing?
No, CITB and CSCS are different organisations. CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) works with construction companies to improve skills across the industry and help employers respond to workforce challenges. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is a card scheme that helps employers verify that workers have the appropriate skills and qualifications to work safely on construction sites. CSCS cards serve as proof of competency and proficiency in the relevant trade.
I have a criminal record. Can I still apply for a CSCS card?
Yes, having a criminal record does not automatically disqualify you from obtaining a CSCS card. However, certain types of convictions may affect your eligibility. For specific guidance on your situation, please contact the CSCS offices directly.
